Debadging

Ok so im thinking i might have nothing to do on this saturday night...i know, i know. But it happens. So i was thinking its been a month or so, time to do it. Ive seen plenty of topics about debadging but havent come across any that say how your doing it. The last thing i want to do is damage that beautiful black finish! A disclaimer for daddy....im not gonna make you 100% proud, but maybe like 80%

Coincidentally, I was heading for the garage to do my tailgate and decided to check on this forum first (yes, I am an addict). I am heading out there in a few minutes. I use 3M Adhesive Remover and my fingers. I let the 3M A/R soak in frm the top and slowly pull the badges out and keep spraying more in as I go. I tried the fishing line trick, but I find it easier to just work at it with my fingers and the 3M stuff. I keep a rag jandy to catch all the runoff as I go.

There will def be pics! Jeff seriously, 7 wrenches? You must be the only one with that. I have a product called goof off were i work, do you know if thats similiar and safe?

Pssst, don't tell daddy, but....NO, I didn't. That is an "extra" I got when I had my little car wash incident. They had to remove/replace the badges when they blended the paint into the door when they painted the fender. Notice there is 3 GM Chiclets.
