Sub Enclosure 2008 Crew Cab

If I were to get another box for my gmt900 crew I would go with subthump. I've heard good things about their boxes and they seem to fit nicely. The thing that concerns me about the one you posted is that it states its for a 2005-2008 "quad cab". The trucks are different so it seems that they just recycled the same box design for previous years and are using them for the 900s, just my opinion but I think thats a no no. BTW subthump box is cheaper.

 

As far as my sub situation goes I am happy, just wish I would have taken my time to piece everything together. I could not wait to have these companies create a box so I got one made, and paid for it. I have 2 10w3's and wish I would have gone with a couple of ed 11kv2s because they're supposed to be good and a lot cheaper, so I paid for that too. Now my front stage I am very happy with, morel component set running off an audison amp.

 

So the moral of the story here is to research and get as many opinions and suggestions as possible. Usually better things cost more but you can have everything sounding real good without breaking the bank.

Yeah, I saw the subthump box, I just wasn't sure if down firing was better or not? I just sold my 06 GTI and bought this truck. I am going crazy w/ no bass. Thanks for the info...

No problem. Sorry for giving you more info than needed, but I just cant stress the research part of it enough. Two down firing 10's will definitely give you the bass you've been missing. Also check out probox enclosures, have heard good things about those too.

I have 2 jl audio 12's in a subthump downfiring and they sound great!
