Yep,We've already been discussing this on another thread.

Don't be surprised though if its a little longer before the parts are out,You can pull the fuse in the meantime,Thats what GM told us dealers to do if a customer is worried about a fire.

Hey Rich, do you know where this fuse is located?

In the fusebox?

Gee, thanks! Which one? The one under the hood or the one behind the dash panel? I am sure I could find it, but I just thought I'd ask and maybe save me a few minutes time.

You know what Jeff I don't,I haven't pulled mine yet (Of course my truck hasn't moved in a month!)

I think its the one under the hood, when I pull mine I'll post what number fuse it is,I also know they changed some of the fuse location numbers from '07 to '08,so whatever number it is in our '07s it might not be the same location number for '08s.

Anytime. I will check tonight. I have to pop the hood to check the oil and the intake I installed the other day. I will post up in a couple hours.

You have to check your intake??? Does it have a dipstick too? Or are you just afraid Riggs stole it? :fume:

HAHA, knew I'd get something. When I was putting it together, one of the screws had a blank head. I already had the stocker off and most of the new one in so I just continued without. True Flow sent me some new screws so I wanted to check it out and put the missing screw in. Then I will check the intake blinker fluid via the dipstick on the intake tube and be on my merry way.

The pulling the fuse is not offical correct (I did not see anything in the notice)? I'd rather not pull it in case I need it before Nov.

Dan,

The letter they sent to customers does not mention pulling the fuse, however the letter they sent us dealers does mention to pull the fuse if the customer is concerned about a fire.

Thanks Rich,

My concern is liability exposure of doing nothing until the part is out.

No,You'll be alright if you pull it,I actually recommend pulling it just to be safe, although I would think that as long as you don't use the heated washer fluid you'd be alright also.

I left my truck outside running with the heated fluid pushed. Out with a toasty 07 and in with a 09 and the 6.2!!!
