I would probably go with the GM system. I just installed a new True Flow XDI system. I have been reading around and decided I want a sealed system. Sounds like the filter better and actually draw in cooler air. I got a good deal on this one, but want the best filtration possible and I think a closed box is better for that. Mine is somewhat sealed, but the end is about an inch away from the fender opening. Ah, who knows.

I went with a K&N drop-in and an Airaid Modular Intake Tube (part number 200-996). Well below $200 and I have cold air, good filtration and clean laminar flow to the engine. There's no need to pay $300-$400 bucks for the same thing.

that looks cool!

HAHA, thanks. 300 bucks for a cool look. It actually sounds great too. Im not expecting any MPG changes or anything though. I will hopefully get some of those when I get her tuned.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking when I saw it. Its actually a oiled foam filter. The filter looks like it will do a damn good job. Wanted a dry filter, but AEM and AFE are the only two that I found that offer them.

he said they cost around $250, dont know where you got 300-400 dollars?

Keep up! Any sealed box system is going to be that much. Daddy maintained the GM box, and right above him J-man said he wished he had the GM.

The GMPP will cost $300-$400
