New Door/trim Opinions

Ok Heres a Before (White door and trim) and the after (golden oak stained door and trim)

 

What do you think? Lowered home value? Increased?

 

I still have a ton of work but seeing the beginning of the results personally I really like it. I think it makes it look "richer"

Although I didn't vote, I think it looks good. It definately added some value to your home. Anytime you do an improvement it will add up. It really livened up your entry way.

I've noticed that new homes in the great white North go for the stained wood baseboard and trim look. I haven't seen that down here in new homes since the 80s. Funny how styles vary from region to region. All of the woodwork in my new house is painted white. Both can look good, depending on the house.
