Another Leveled Gmt900

Finally found the time to install the 2" leveling kit. It was pretty simple, took about 1.5 hours plus an extra set of hands. The truck is now only 3/4" higher in the rear, mostly due to the air bags.

Looks great, any plans on adding bigger tires? Has the ride quality change?

Thanks!

Ride quality hasn't changed at all. I wish I could afford bigger tires, but I'm going to have to wait until the factory tires wear out.

Looks good, Todd. I'm suprised I'll be the first to tell 'ya to get rid of the front bumper valance.

Well...

If we're headed down that path you might as well lose the stickers and emblems too!

Looks good... I priced the install on a lift last week... Did'n't like the kit they install so I'm still looking.

Looks like we started something, gotta ditch those step bars as well.

And the mud flaps, bug deflector, front and rear bumpers, and the doors. Maybe the hood too, but that's up to you.

Seriously though, the truck looks really good.

I agree with the mud flaps and bug deflector. They're only on there to save the paint. The factory tires like to grab stones and chuck them at the paint. Before the mud flaps I was getting several new chips between washings.
