sacc1001 Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 has anyone had their emergency brake warning light and the traction control warning lights come on while they are driving? the lights come on and the truck dings like the door is open...it also says to service brake system. its a 2007 Sierra, 5.3, 2wd, 23K miles any help is greatly appreciated
csheatz Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 My wifes car does that every once and again, brake, service light, and ABS light, and traction light. I cant figure it out, doesnt have any codes in the ECU. I found that turning the car off and restarting, then they wont be on, if I drive with the lights on it seems as if everything is still working fine, so I dont have a answer but your not the only one.

sonjaab Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 You wouldn't happen to have just put on a new set of oversized tires or rims or happened to change out your rear gears for a different ratio set by chance have you?
