Gmt900 Weird Axle Hop

Has anyone else experienced what seems like the rear axle hop, especially on the drivers side during wheel spin. I have noticed this a number of times during hard take offs especially when wet and the rear wheels get spinning.

Axle hop is pretty typical of large rear wheel drive vehicles with solid rear axles when accelerating hard on uneven surface. Independent rear suspension helps eliminate this. I do not experience it on my '84 Mercedes 500SEL.

I think I have experienced this too. Mine only does it when it is wet out and the tires spin.

+2 My factory tires were garbage. Rubber is too expensive no adays and so are vehicles...make it last.

I'll bet the factory limited slip (if equipped) is contributing to the problem too, and not liking it one bit.
