like JHOFF said, I have also heard of the SS TB's going through tranny's........Might be something to look into.........personally with the economy right now, if you have something that is still nice and good running, and paid off, I'd say wait...........

Have to admit I bought an 07 trailblazer in July of 07. I was sweet but it was gone in less than 2 months. I missed having a truck. But the ride on that bad boy was sweet! Pretty quick for the V6 it had.

My old seattle roommate bought a TrailblazerSS before he moved up there in '06. He loves that thing. He gets MAYBE 10 miles to the gallon the way he drives it, but he's never had any tranny problems. Lots of little things here and there, but nothing crazy expensive - other than his payments...

Depends on the $$$ :jester:

He said he'd still have his '93. So if he needed a truck, he'd have that.

Doesn't someone on here have a TBSS? Or used to?

The regular trailblazer does have a 4.2l I-6, but the SS has a bada..390hp 6.0 . I think the TBSS are awesome rides and starting out with 390hp. But just think what you would have if you let Justin (blackbear) get his hands on it.

If you don't use your truck bed much, I say go for it. It's not right for me for a daily driver, I use my bed, but if I didn't it would certainly be on my list of vehicles. Keep us informed.

With the mods u have on your current truck, I would reccomend selling it yourself. The dealer won't give fair trade value for the wheels and supercharger.

It could be tough to find a buyer, in this economic climate.

Good luck, I like the TBSS! :jester:

They are badass, and I haven't heard of any tranny problems. ??? A guy from the Colorado forums I frequent has one with a CRAP LOAD of work, including a supercharger. He hasnt upgraded his tranny and I have seen videos of him doing AWD burnouts and crap. If the $$ is right, go for it. In the event that you are losing money, I wouldn't do it even if you REALLY wanted to. Always think future and having that extra money later on.
