Hey everyone, nice forum you have here. I have returned to GMC and it feels good to be back. I have my new Sierra for a grand total of 48 hours. Look forward to enjoying my truck and this forum.

Haha......nothing that bad. For the last two years I been driving a Ridgeline. Good truck, no complaints but when I began to look for another I stopped by a GM dealer and was so impressed by this truck and the fact that GM is discounting the 08's so much I decided to go for it instead.

IMO, I wouldnt call the ridgeline a truck... I would hate to see what would happen to one if you overloaded it like some of us overload our chevy trucks...

 

Plus correct me if I am wrong but I dont think that they even sit on a full chassis, I thought it was sitting on the same thing as the CRV...

Yea, there is always a difference of opinion when it comes to whether or not the Ridgeline is a "real" truck. It did all I asked of it and never left me stranded. I think it shares its chassis with the Pilot. I can't say anything bad about it.

 

Now with all that said I would never put the Ridgeline in the same class as my Sierra. In every way the GM offers more. IMO

Yeah the thing I dont understand is that the motor companies classify it as a truck???
