Got My Concealed Handgun Permit Yesterday....

The class was about 8 hrs it went from 8:30 to 3:30 learning about law and about mechanical operations about the guns and from 3:30 about till 6 we were at the range shooting out targets...

 

I was shooting a Taurus 38 SPL Revolver.. I thought it was a ultra lite but it wasnt...

 

I like the revolvers even though I initially wanted a Semi-auto glok... But I think that if I got a semi it would probably end up being a sig P229... Everyone that had a semi had a problem with a their magazine and reloading... I think this might have been cause of the cold... But every one with the revolvers were loaded and ready to go before all the semi-autos...

 

I missed one on the test which I was kinda mad about cause I thought that I should go back and change my answer but I didnt...

 

And of course I passed the shooting that was a blast...

 

 

There was this girl that was next to me and she brought a revolver that had a laser on it which was cool to watch.. She really took her time shooting cause when we did 5 rounds in the row I would be able to watch her the last couple rounds...

Oh and let me know what kinda of handgun you guys recommend! I have to take my certificate to the Sheriff's office and fill out an application for my license.

 

Once I get it I am buying a pistol!

Of course she shot slower, she had a lazier on it, remember? :rolleyes:

 

 

EDIT: While you are backtracking and editing, it's a Glock, not a Glok. :lol:

Here's a picture of what we have to supply here in Indiana in order to get a permit.

haha my bad it was suppose to be a laser.... She was so nervous that half the way through shooting she was shaking like crazy... Dont see how she would be able to shoot an attacker!

Yeah, we have to have a permit but all you need to get one is to not be a felon. :rolleyes:

 

I have been going with the 4yr permit but I am waiting for my lifetime permit to show up sometime in the next two weeks.

Here... just pay $125 and request a lifetime permit, then wait for it to show up.

I have a Baby Eagle .40, a Glock 17 with internal laser designator, and a Femaru FEG R-61 (9mmM). I'm getting ready to buy a .357 revolver as wel, likely a Ruger SP101 or a nice used S&W.
