Nav Bose Non-bose Sound Issue - Chime

ok I have been looking to get a factory nav radio. I have a 06 TBSS. No where on the cd player does it say bose. On it or in the disply starting up. its a in dash 6 disc changer. I got a nav unit out of a buick supposidly non bose. I hooked it up and it seemed to work. Did the bypass and the sound worked no problem, however my chime is loud as hell. I even set it to normal. Why is this? I guess these are the questions I need to ask.

 

If I hook up a oem unit that is a bose unit in a non bose car, will there be sound?

How about the other way around a non-bose deck in a bose car?
