Ipod Interfaces

I got quoted for a PAL at $181 installed for my 08' Silverado w/out Nav. I have been look for an interface and it seems that all of them are getting mixed results depending on who you talk to. I know this topic is not a new one but it seems that from all of the installers I have talked to give me different ways in which the interfaces may or may not work. Should I just get the pal because if it doesnt work I can complain to GM easier than a universal interface manufacturer?

I've been happy with my Peripheral iSimple. Different truck, but the unit works well, and I think it's about 150 bucks for the GMT900 trucks. I wouldn't pay to have it installed, it took me about 20 minutes to do in my truck.

I've been looking at this too and all of the reviews seem horrible for everything except the iSimple.

 

Does anyone know if it's possible to have a lockpick 322 so that the nav/dvd type items are fixed and also have the iSimple?

 

Any other input or experiences on this topic would be great. Information on the best solutions out there for iPod integration seems to be spread out and hard to collect.

by far the iSimple is the best....hand down....took me about 30 mins to install it...

I like the Peripheral PXAMG, works identical to the GM PAL, plus its not on national backorder.
