Floor Lift

I am looking at getting a floor lift. I was looking at the MD-6XP BendPak. From what I can tell BendPak is a good quality lift. This thing would make tire rotations and brake work so much easier as well as all the other work when you need to lift a vehicle.

 

Any suggestions as to other similar lifts? The fact that it is portable is what I'm looking for mostly. I don't have much room inside my garage but outside I have a huge area to move it to and work on vehicles.

Here is what I'm looking at getting.

Never used one like it myself but it looks like it would be handy to have. I'd much prefer a two post lift myself but they require space and more zeros on the check! How is this one for accessing undercar stuff to service it? It looks like it would block a lot of access... just judging from the picture.

 

The price doesn't seem too bad...and being able to move it outside would be really cool.

I found one for $1250 plus shipping. At least living in a small town the local Hardware store lets me ship large items to them so I save on freight.

 

You can't get to much in the middle underside of the vehicle. This is more for the outer four corners work along with anything to do with the tires, brakes, shocks and suspension. It is big with body shops to make it easier for them to work on the lower section of the vehicle.

 

I do a few oil changes and tire rotations for the elderly in my church so this would really help me out. I could put a two post lift in my garage but it would limit room that I enjoy now. This one being portable is a big plus.
