I ordered it Monday about 3 pm and by Wed at 3 pm it was built and tested and enroute to UPS.  I should get it next week sometime I would think...

 

Man that was fast... It wasn't an off the shelf unit either because I made my own configuration of their Dell Dimension 8200.

 

I have to start burning copies of some important files, and more importantly, get this darn desk cleaned off...

 

ByeBye 850 Mhz and hello 1.9Ghz!!!  WooHoo...

 

(still surfing at 49.3Kbs  :cry:  )

It was in Harrisburg at 5:37 pm.  They say (UPS) I should get it tomorrow.

 

Yeah, the kids get the 850 mhz and I don't know what I'll do with the 166 mhz.

Mine is a 333 but with DSL service. Man that makes all the difference. I do want a bigger one though. But 1.9gig :cry: wow. I was thinking of upgrading to an 850 or so. I guess I got left behind.

my 2gig  dell shipped in a few days as well.

 

my old 333 dell is my server now  and my vaio is just a linux test box

Mine is a 333 but with DSL service.

What brand of comp you got???  Mine is a sucky Gateway G6-333 computer...that's what I get for letting mom pick it out.  Oh well....Gateway's are great, its just the speed...GAH!

Uh mine is an "cough ack wheeze" E-machine :cry:  :D . My wife has a Compaq. But hell it's only a 566 but also with a separate DSL line ( her company pays for the that line )
