I'm not sure who's more idiotic, the police sergeant on the moronic parents who thought the names would be unique.

The parents should be neutered certainly. Now, the thousand dollar question. Will a government funded/sponsored foster home be an improvement? If being a dumb, idiotic parent is a crime, then the jails are going to fill up real fast. Just food for thought. I do agree with slapping the parents and then gelding them.

I've been following the thread over at pirate 4x4 an some have brought up an interesting point that the government over stepped it's bounds by seizing the kids based on how they are named. Under freedom of speech it's illegal for the government to dictate speech, even a name. While both parents are jackasses and need pummeled repeatedly is it right for the government to dictate a child's name?

The morning radio show talked about this a few weeks ago. Something about a store refusing to write the kid's name on a birthday cake? The kid's name was Adolf Hitler.

 

I'd read or heard somewhere that the kid was named this as a sign of respect or tribute. Not that that makes it ok or anything.
