Howdy everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself before going in and posting questions. This looks like a great site with a lot of info.

 

I'm Jade, a meteorologist in the US Air Force. I've been a desk jockey for about 9yrs now. Don't get me wrong; I've seen my share of the field and the world. I just say desk jockey because before I enlisted I grew up doing farmwork, did two years at a vocational school for Diesel Technology, and worked as a manual machinist for three years before enlisting. So, being a weatherguy is a desk jockey job for me. haha

 

I've been married for 12yrs. We have two little ones, 9yr old son, and 7yr old daughter. We also have a 70lb bassett hound and a 140lb mastiff. I drive an '04 Silverado Z-71 5.3L and the wife has an '06 Saturn Vue 6cyl AWD. We also have a collection of ATVs and dirtbikes I haul around with the pickup.
