mattgob86 Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I am going to buy a new Sierra All Terrain in May or June after i graduate for a from me to me graduation gift , and i am considering either the 5.3 or the 6.2 and would like to know what kind of fuel economy the 6.2 gets. I know if i ask what everyone's thoughts on this is to just go with the 6.2 because its got 403 hp but im gunna ask anyways .
mattgob86 Posted January 16, 2009 Author Posted January 16, 2009 Sorry for the 4 postings but i kept getting the INTERNAL SERVER ERROR 500 and i didnt know that it would post because i didnt refresh when i went back. Could i get someone to delete the other three and i promise not to fall for that again
jrrod2004 Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 its cool. I would run the 6.2 because it has the greatest potential for getting good fuel economy depending on how you tune it...
Darkanion Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I agree with Mike... It also depends a LOT on how you drive it. If you go easy on the accelerator you can get at least the EPA #'s. If you're heavy on the gas, you won't even come close to those #'s. Click on "search," up top and enter this : 6.2 and mpg That should give you some things to look at.

I was thinking a new true cold induction, header back exhaust upgrade, lighter wheel/tire combo, and of course a Blackbear tune
