fogfrank Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 My Brake Lights and my Blower Motor have both stopped working at the same time. The Cab Roof Brake Light is working. I have checked all the Bulbs and Fuses. If I pump the brake pedal the lights Barely Glow, HOWEVER when I disconnect the Blower Motor, they no longer glow. Also the plug going into the Blower Motor shows one side hot and one side grounded. When the test light probes the side that is grounded the relay buzzes! I have also replaced the relay! I can not figure where the Blower Motor, and the Brake Lights inter-connect. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! This is a 1995 Sonoma. Thanks I just hooked a ground wire from the battery neg. post to the case of the blower motor. Now blower and brake lights operate. where do I look now? I'll disconnect new ground wire and begin a wiggle test.
superjim Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Sounds like a bad ground. Did you find the problem yet?
