My Boss Called Me In For A Meeting At Work Today....

He wanted me to come in around 7 this morning but I was getting ready for physical therapy at 8:30...

So I went in after PT, and my initial thought when I went into the office and from the very beginning when I found out that I was going to need surgery that they would realize that they could do with out me....

This way they would let me go and I could continue to work full time with my company... At least I was kinda hoping, I am really good friends with the owner and he knows that I would like to go off on my own "full time"....

I walk into the office and the first thing that said to me was "when can you come back"??? I told them that my doctor has me out to March 3rd until I see him that day and then I will find out if I can come back "light duty"...

So they put the offer on the table that they need somone to fill a office position and wanted to see if I was interested in it until I can get around a little better....

I explained to them that due to the fact that Workers Comp wont pay you until you have been out of work at least 7 days. After that I have to be compensated for at least 25 days before they can go back and pay me for the first 7 days that I was not paid at first... After that I would be willing to come back....

They asked me if I was willing to come back early and I said that I would... I would like to make more than what I am getting right now...

The bad thing is that I will have a lot of paper work and billing that I would be in charge of which I had before but I had my office manager handle all that before the accident...

They dont have a full 40 hrs but in that time I will have full access to the internet so that if I have personal things to do online and manage that I could do that too... (haha)

So I might be back to work in the next 3 weeks... So we will see...

I am going to die if I am going to be confined to an office all day :AARRGGHHH:

Ohhh and I was able to get my W2'S So I am going to do my taxes tonight! Tax refund here I come!!!

Noo I think they could only get worse!

I will have some driving that I will have to do as well... There are a couple of trips that I will have to make to meet with owners of Nurseries in SC, GA, and and Florida-FTW!!!

He told me that my new work truck will have a laptop in it with full access to the internet as well!!! But we will see if it happens..

Think if it as my stationary office while parked away from the office.. That way I can enter price scales when I am at a nursery or Landscape supply yard and enter chemical ratio's and tables ect...
