Got Some Goodies For The Truck Today!

So UPS and Fedex both made stops at the house today, also got a call from the dealership about some other goodies that came in. UPS dropped off my new headunit and the backup camera. Fedex dropped off the steering wheel adapter. The dealership had my color matched mudguards and the 09 rear camera tailgate bezel!!! Stopped by Circuit City to pick up the XM module for the HU and some Polk DB 6.5s for all the doors.. I already got the tailgate bezel trimmed out and the camera mounted. Lemme know what you think!

Ya, I have been stressing over the camera mount. I'm hoping using the same angle the factory does will help. They put it at the optimal position, right?!?! LOL I guess I will youtube 09 camera backup camera or something! I am hoping to install everything next weekend (if the rest of my parts come in)

Those color matched splash guards look really nice. I wish I knew that you can get them color matched before I bought mine.

Ya... I don't know retail on them, I got them for 60 per set.. pretty decent price I think. I want the bug deflector next. I just installed the tailgate handle with the camera a second ago.. Mainly wanted to make sure the camera cleared since it was designed with a different camera in mind. I'm going to the dealer shortly to play with an 09.. I need to see where they run the wires. Hoping it's a hole in the bottom and I can get a grommet from parts for it. I'll take a pic of the tailgate when I go back outside. I may take some pics of the factory setup too for comparison.. I just called my salesman, hes going to pull an 09 up for me to play with shortly!! I'll have more pics later!

karlm, I will try to find my receipt today. you know what, when I went to pick them up, their system was down I think and I already threw the boxes away. I will get you a PN though! I just got back from the dealership. unfortunately, there is a hole drilled in the tailgate and body for the wires to run.. (basically dead center). I was also surprised to see the wires came straight out the back of that grommet down to a harness directly behind the license plate 9visible without plate installed) and down the driver's side.. I got a few pics of the camera "in action" (sitting still, but the truck in reverse) to show the view it gives. I was hoping the edge of the bumpers were visible, but are not. my camera may be a bit different. Anyways, that's enough for now!

And for the tailgate handle bezel with camera mount, the PN is 25958228 retail on it should be about 32 dollars.. if you have a hookup, 22ish... Hope that all helps!
