Hid Light Kit

I wanting to install some 6000K HID's i checked with the texas department of motor vehicle and they said they were legal as long as they are not some off color (red blue green etc.)

any one have any pics of a set of 6000K's or installed hid's how easy or hard are they to install

I know you're looking for 6000K but I have 8000K's on my silverado if that helps at all. I would imagine the 6000K will be a little less blue than mine.

I have 8000k on the trailblazer and they arent nearly as blue. The Sierra has 6000k and they have the slight blue tint to them. It depends what company you are buying from.

Check around to see if the company has a webpage with the colors of their sets before you order so you wont be disappointed.

+1 on the post above, had some NBS sierra with what looked like 8000K HIDs on the regular headlights and fogs behind me last night. I didnt like the way the center line looked blue instead of white.

I have been looking as well....I just converted over to OEM Denali Headlamps which are supposed to work well with a true HID kit. Does anyone know of a good company that sells german ballast and japanese bulbs? These $99 specials you see online cant last nor worth the time....
