Part Number Help

Does anyone know the part numbers for the lug nuts and lug nut covers that match this wheel?

 

My truck is a W/T and I bought these wheels off ebay last year to replace the steelies that came with mine. They didn't come with lug nuts and the ones that came on my steel wheels are just plain jane open faced lug nuts. It actually didn't look bad, until now. Winter has started to discolor my studs that are exposed and I need to cover them up.

 

I am planning on just using the OEM ones and the black plastic covers that match these wheels. Unless someone knows where I can get polished stainless lug nuts that don't show the stud.

15646250 is the part number for the lug nut covers,You should be able to use the same lug nuts that came with your steel wheels since they are the same part number and should have external threads for the lug nut covers to screw on to (Lug nuts are part#9595175)

One other option.....You could use the lug nuts from the 18" Denali wheels,They are a bright stainless steel "capped" lug nut,They are part#9596070,The only thing about them is the price,They list at $4.95 each!

Thanks, I might check out the Denali lugs. The lugs that I currently have don't have external threads so I would have to buy new lugs and the caps. The price shouldn't be too much of a difference.

I found them on gmpartsdirect for $3.04 a piece. I'm about to checkout and I noticed that the description says "front and rear wheel lug nut cap". Are these just caps or are they actual "capped lug nuts"?

Nevermind, I got a hold of my local dealer's parts dept. and confirmed. I had them order them for me rather than gmpartsdirect. I told the dealer the online price and he said he could get close but, $3.04 is a steal. His price was slightly higher but, I don't have to pay shipping and the dealer is only like $4 bucks more expensive total cost so I chose to support my local shop.

Yeah, I bought a set from e-bay for 1.00 each, just for a spare set. They had threaded and non threaded. I put them in my tool chest in case I need them. They were new take offs. Not a mark on them. Look new.

Hmm...Strange,Your factory lug nuts for the steel wheels should have had external threads to hold the center caps on

No, I had the W/T painted steel wheels. The lug nut caps were actually attached to the center cap. My lug nuts are just basic uncapped lugnuts without threads. If I bought my truck with the wheels I have (like the picture in the first post) then they would have had external threads.

 

I think the Denali lugs will look awesome on these wheels!
