Got Fabtech Ordered, What Do I Do With My Rc Levelin Kit

Fabtech 6" is ordered and on thee way. Right now I have the RC 2" leveling kit installed on the truck.. I was planning on just taking it out, but could I still run it? The kit is adjustable from 1" - 2."

I dont think I would want to leave all the blocks in for 2" but maybe just 1 block for a 1" of extra front lift. Of course If I do that I would like to lift the rear 1 to 2". How would I do it? Rear leafs or blocks? I dont want to stack blocks.

Just the cheapo basic..I dont really wheel this truck. It goes in rutted or muddy fields a dozen times a year maybe thats about it.

The Fabtech kit is designed to make a stock truck sit level after lifting. I'd stick with their stuff and not mix if it were me.

Im running the Fabtech with 2" CCM Spacer and 8" Deavers out back. My angles are good on the CVs but the UCA sucks so I bought GMR Custom UCAs to fix that :D

The only spacer that can be used with the Fabtech is a top spacer like the CCM. After adding that, you will have to order new leaf springs. 8" at least. Congrats on the order!!!

Thanks for the replies guys.. I was thinking that if you could run the RC type kit I would just order the rear springs while I was getting the lift on to do it all at once.

I guess I'll just wait and see what I think of the lift and decide if I want to go any bigger after I see it. What do those UCAs run? Cant be cheap?

wow those are hogs, 550 for a set right? Thats not so bad, I was expecting worse I guess... I noticed you had a problem with the axle sitting too far forward.. Thats a direct result of the deavers? Whats this zero rate your talking about? I dont really think I am going to be happy with just 6" of lift, so I would like to get a list of the things needed to go higher. say 8-10"s of lift.

I think the best bet might be to just get the fabtech and get the 1.5" body lift installed... I hate Body Lifts but it will probably be alot cheaper and easier to do that then go through any more suspension lift over the fabtech. Only thing with the body lift is moving the bumpers... I haven't had to do that before so Im not sure how much of a pita it is...

I will probably only run 35's max anyways because I think they are already hard enough on the 1500 chassis...

Im selling my Deavers this springs. Then Im putting on an ORD 4.5" Shackle Flip, new spring perches, and 4" springs. Should net me about 9" in the rear. That set up should cost me about 600 bucks give or take and then the UCAs and 1.5" body lift i bought already. I would recommend the shackle flip for a better ride, my deavers dont ride too hot.
