This is the Rancho 4" kit with 18" XD Monster fitted with 285/65/18 Nitto Terra Graps (32.5 inch tire diameter)

The shop that did the install took an extra day to complete so they did the customer service thing and discounted the lift an extra $350 and upgraded the front shocks to the adjustable 9000's. The rear has the standard RS5000's. They also reinstalled my existing Air-Ride bags which I keep at 20psi, so even with gear in the back I don't get too far from level.

I would like some opinions on the leveling. The shop said it measures level with no weight in the back. They offered to swap out the rear block to bring the back up an inch if I wanted. Any thoughts? The difference in the front and rear fender designs give it higher in the front look, but I think it is only an illusion.

I measured the total height due to some parking garage limitations and it measures an even 79 inches or 6'7". Perfect!

looks good man. i would take off the lower valance on the front bumper though!!

I would also add the 1" of height to the back so that it sits level when loaded.

I didn't even think of that but now that you mention it, good call. Does the valance serve any purpose or have a mechanical value to the truck?

Also, I can keep the leveling where it's at now using the Air-Ride bags in the rear. Do you think it looks lower in the back?

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. This is a great website.

In that side shot you posted the rear looks a little lower than the front... but its pretty close to level. I dont think 1" more in the rear is going to make the truck look bad at all.... id do it if it were mine just to make sure it doesnt look like its sagging.

The valance does not serve any important purpose. Its primary function on stock trucks is for more uniform airflow under the truck on the highway (less turbulence)... but being that you are now 4" higher in the front, it does nothing but look bad :dunno:

Looks great man! Like body lifting Denali boy said above, take it off. Now that you are lifted, it serves no purpose.

sk1er18, just kidding. Truck looks great man. Just bustin' your balls GMFS style.

What purpose does the lower valance server when a truck is not raised? Cooling?
