Driver's Power Seat

I've got a '01 Yukon XL with 88K on it and it's developed this problem recently. When I press the slide bar to move the seat bottom back, it stops every 1/4 of an inch or so. I've looked under the seat at length, and don't see any exposed wires, and nothing else appears to be out of place.

The seat back works fine, as does the the seat heater. Passenger seat works fine.

How can I troubleshoot this further? Thanks.
