Swap Center Console For Third Seat

I just bought an 07 Silverado HD with crew seating, but it has two front buckets with center console. I would like seating for six.

 

Can I remove the center console and install center seat?

 

GM does not sell the complete center seat. I would have to buy parts and assemble. What are my options?

You could find someone who is wanting a full console and swap with them. What color is your interior? Do you have a LTZ?

Do a search for "Silverado Seat" on E-Bay - you can get them cheap.

So does anyone happen to have all the part #s for the center full console setup? I never really use the middle seat anyways...

 

Edit- ouch 407.95 shipped from GMP-Direct...Part #15910750 (Complete Center Console Assembly- Ebony)...I don't know if that includes a new "kick panel" or not (the main piece that's under the radio/upper dash, I think the full consoles have a different type?)

Damn I must be bored, found that part- the "insulator"...Turns out there ARE two versions, one for the console and one for without...the one for with console is 25790726 and 27.36 shipped for a grand total of 435.31 for both...

That's A LOT cheaper than what they showed me when I requested the parts from GMPD. I got back a list of around 14 parts and a cost of over $900. Let me go track those numbers down. This may only be part of the whole thing.

Guess I better just keep an eye out on a junkyard salvage as 1,000 bucks is way too much for a insubstantial upgrade like that...My console's serving me fine at the moment.

 

Might be missing something, I just put together all the pieces and it comes out to be 903.93...I selected all the major assemblies on the chart and also added the "lower insulator w/center console".

That is NOT a complete center console,Thats just the "main" center console itself,You still need all the "little" parts,such as the armrest,the rear panel,the cup holders (both front and rear) the cup holder liners,the front bezel/compartment,etc,etc.
