Hey guys anyone know if you can take the cover off the headlights on the 08 silverado and if i can paint the inside black?

stick it in the oven for a few minutes (10-15) around 250 degrees and a butter knife to separate them.

OT, but you want to paint the reflectors black? That'll look pretty awesome but would cut down on the light by a pretty significant amount.

No, the reflectors wouldn't be painted, just the housing surrounding said reflectors.

what did you use to seal them back up and what kind of paint?...but say if i were to paint the part you left unpainted would hid headlights not make up for it?

i noticed that the grill was painteed black did you do that? and if you did what kind of paint and like on most of these trucks that chrome strip on the front under the bumper did you do that too?

Can you post the Car Domain profile, I'd like to see more pictures of those headlights, if there are any. Curious to know how well those blinkers work.

That is not my truck. It's a member's truck over on GMFS. There are many trucks over there who have done this mod.
