I asked if they had locking ones but they don't I was wondering if someone can point me in the right directions.

Thanks.

Do a google search for 14mm x 1.5 locking lugs. I bet some pop up.

Sorry I don't know any online. I get mine from my local 4x4 shop. These are the best for being installed by an impact and they are triple plated not like the cheap ones that are single plated.

Your local auto parts store of choice should have them, or at least be able to order some. I picked my McGards up at Pep Boys.

:uhoh:

I just bought a set at the local AutoZone that work just fine. I prefer Gorilla locks, though.

Summit Racing will have both McGard and Gorilla locks in the proper sizes.

in general, be careful with lug nut choice for alloy wheels. they MUST have free spinning washers on the ends. can't tell you folks how many studs have i ripped because regular lug nuts sort of stick to the alloy. self-tightening. i have been fighting this issue on several different cars and different alloys, from OEM Lexus to old time Chrysler ones. found this notice about washers only several mths ago.

I didn't find the ones on Summit Racing. i found Gorilla and American racing but no locking.

Never use and air impact wrench to tighten or loosen a locking lug nut. Always use hand tools for them.

I never use an air impact on my lugnuts. But I know alot that take there trucks in to get serviced and they use air tools.

I personally use hand tools. I break loose my lugnuts by hand then use a cordless impact to remove the lugnuts. Then I do the same to install. I use the cordless and get them snug and then I tighten them down by hand and torque them. I think this the best and easiest way I can do it.

I said on locking lug nuts only. They can be damaged by an air impact wrench. Using one on regular lug nuts is not going to hurt them if the right socket is used. However, uneven tightening can cause rotor/drum warpage.
