Projector Light On 2001 Silverado

I've done some searching in the forum and haven't found what I'm looking for, so I'm sorry if I'm being redundant in asking this question. Anyways, I got a eBay set of aftermarket projectors w/ halos for my 01 1500, and went to replace the bulbs and was a little surprised when I tried to swap the low beams. Instead of just connecting right to the bulb, the run wires out to a connector. I did just a little bit of investigating and found that they have to be what appears to me as an irreplaceable bulb. Is there a way to get that junk out of there and just have a normal connection? Thanks for any help!

My brother had some projector lights on his tahoe. The bulb was a pain to get out but it was changable. It was an h3 bulb, most aftermarket foglights (and some projector lights) use this type of bulb. Its a small bulb with a metal flange on it with one screw in the metal flange securing the bulb down. Then there is a white wire coming out the back of the bulb. Usually ther is a ground wire attached to the metal that the flange on the bulb screws down to. Most likely this is how yours is set up.

Is there any reason I can't take that out and put a regular bulb in?
