P0446 Code And Locating The Evap Canister

Good morning!

My 02 s10 crew cab 4x4 is throwing a service engine soon light. code is p0446 indicating evap venting issues.

 

I read from a post that the evap canister has a solinoid/switch on it that has a tendency to fail. I guess I need some assistance with locating this equipment under the hood so I can instect it.

 

Are there any good pdf documents, or schematics online to look at that show the layout and location of the emissions system? so I can track down and inspect this equipment?

 

So while I am asking, I have read several topics on this forum regarding these evap caninsters. Specificaly on the S10, do you know if they can be cleaned and reused as I have read some other truck/vehicle canisters were pulled, cleaned and put back in with good results.
