I think I've read you have a V6? I'd spend that same amount of money and buy a low mileage 6L/transmission.

edit: it wouldn't be a direct swap, the motor mounts will probably need moved, probably a whole new engine harness, but the platform you'd start on would be a lot better.

see edit^^^

You could probably buy an entire 6l/trans combo with harness from a scrap yard for what that blower kit costs, just have to wait for a good deal.

Everything I've read on them pretty much says that they're the Harbor Freight of forced induction solutions. Cheap Chinese junk that'll break yo' stuff.

And Sam...How much have you looked into the 6.0 swap? I've got a line on a LQ9 for pretty much peanuts...And I'm trying to price it out in my head as well as try and figure out what all parts I'd need before I move.

I generally look at the quality of a company's website.

This one looks like it should be selling popsicles to 5 year olds. Very primitive and full of errors. Sort of scares the pajeebers out of me.

Look at how insanely overdriven the tiny SC belt is on the 5.3 kit.

I'd run away.

Turbo is the way to go on a 4.3 anyway. :nonod:

I'm with everyone else, stay away. Look at the quality or lack of quality to the website and all of the spelling errors. The warranty they offer is not much of a warranty. They pretty much excluded.

On edit: we will be selling blowers, just not this type...didn't want to make it seem like we were selling these.

Not very much, swapping a LQ4 or LQ9 for me would just be pulling the 5.3 and dropping in the 6l. The main things that come to mind for V6 trucks are engine mounts and wiring. I want to say the 4.3 has the same bell housing as the V8's but I'm not very sure about that. Trans cross member might need moved back but that's just cutting and welding. If it does need moved back the drive shaft might need shortened. That's all cake though, wiring is the thing I hate

OP this is what you need

http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sa...-50k-miles.html

Engine, trans, 50k miles, full wiring harness, $1700.

Heard they were good, older guy designed the supercharger, obviously not web design savy or spelling savy.
