What do you think about Vick coming back to the NFL.

Yahho News

He needs to stay under a jail somewhere... preferably not breathing. Typical POS modern athlete who thinks he is above everybody and everything.

NOT that I have an opinion.

Hopefully Roger Goodell remains the hardass he's been so far and keeps Vick out of the NFL for life.

Dont get me wrong, I dont like Vick as a player, but he went to prison for dog fighting. These are animals, big deal. He didnt do anything to people. Weve become a nation that equates animals to humans. I guess I just dont get it. I grew up on a ranch so I dont see animals the same way other people do. They are a means to survive and make a living not to hang out with and take to the mall and dress up. Sorry Ive been drinking so I am a little out of it.

I agree with you. I love rooster-fights ( yes I know they are called something else, but I know I will catch flack if I call it by the other name), and I really want to see a bullfight. Not sure about dog fights though.

My angle has little to do with the animals. What he did was wrong and highly illegal, but regardless of what you or I think about the animals, this is about the fact that he had (and has) total disrespect for the law and the rules governing the NFL. Even in his statements after being arrested, he was arrogant and acted like a thug athlete... above everybody else and the law.

I hardly see how he should be allowed back in the NFL where there are thousands of talented athletes coming from colleges all over that are willing to abide by the rules and deserve a chance over him.

Just my opinion.

think of all the money he wasted by having dogs fight.

he could have had a gazillion trucks.

all white, all black, all red, lowered, lifted, stock.

man thats the life.

Vick, MC Hammer, and Mike Tyson should compare notes as to who can flush the $$ down the shitter the fastest...not something to be proud of in my book...

Especially the ones who talk in the "3rd person".

I know John would never do that. :D

As Jim mentioned, there are more than enough talented athletes that can take his place. Vick had his chance at fame and fortune, but "went back to his roots" and fighted dogs instead. The NFL itself is starting to get lame too, paying all these rookies more and more each year.(Well...letting the teams) I wish they pull back these salary caps, its almost like gov't spending.(Its a similarity, not political)

If he got hit by a truck tomorrow I'd be more upset about the truck.

There's treating animals like animals and then there is drowning, electrocuting, beating and strangling them for the sick and twisted steroid-induced pleasure of it. F*CK HIM, period. I don't expect everyone to feel the same way but my dogs are members of my family - the most caring, sane and honest members to boot.
