New Factory Stereo Head Unit Locked

I recently bought a new take out factory head unit with single cd and MP3 jack to replace my am/fm only unit.When I try to use it it says LOcked on the screen.How do I get it ulocked so that I can use it?It from an 09 and my truck is an 08 silverado

I just replaced my stereo system in my Escalade with the OEM navigation system and it is locked as well. You will need to take it into your dealership and they hook up a TECH 2 scanner into your trucks computer system and unlock it.
