Trey (c&a's Dad)

With a very sad heart I’m posting to let y’all know a valued forum member and my best friend, Trey Dickerson (C&A’s Dad), died today leaving behind a wife and 2 young children. He was out yesterday cutting down a tree and a branch from that tree fell out hitting him in the head. He was pronounced this morning at around 10:00 AM CST.

 

I will deeply miss him. Trey was a good man, he never met a stranger and would go out of his way for anyone.

 

God our Father,

Your power brings us to birth,

Your providence guides our lives,

and by Your command we return to dust.

 

Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,

their lives change but do not end.

I pray in hope for Trey and

his family and friends.

 

In company with Christ,

Who died and now lives,

may he rejoice in Your kingdom,

where all tears are wiped away.

Unite us together again in one family,

to sing Your praise forever and ever.

Damn that sucks!

I never met him but he seemed to always to try and help people in his posts.

It just goes to show that you never know when you will go. When it's your time it's your time.

It's just sad that his kids have to finish life without their dad.

Man oh man. I can't believe it! My condolences as well. I only knew Trey through this website, emails and a few phone calls. He was such a great guy. Was helpful to all. I was supposed to call him later this week.

 

Find out if they are going to have any kind of Memorial fund to help with expenses or college education expenses. I'd surely contribute to that.

Ya know, I have made comments in the past about this just being the internet and we are just words on the screen to each other. I know I never really meant it, but the tears in my eyes right now truly prove it.

I just read the post and was dumbfounded. I didnt know him except from this forum, but he seemed very helpful and like a great guy. My prayers and condolences to his family.

That is so very, very sad. My sincere sympathies and condolences to all of Trey's family. I am sending them all lots of comforting and supporting thoughts and wishes.
