My 2008 Rcsb With 4/7 Drop And Gm Oem 22's

Well I went back to lowered in April, being lifted got old jumping in and out...lol

I went with ground force spindles/coils for 4" front drop, rear is MCG 7" flip kit and I added Monroe air shocks for the back so I can have adjustability for towing/hauling loads (the shocks ride great). The tires are 285/45/22 Yokohama Parada Spec-X which is the stock size.

It looks good! I have a question about the air shocks. Can you still haul the same as you did before you lowered it?

well the leafs are stock and the air shocks are good for 120lbs of air. I have 45lbs just to drive around with. When I installed them I put 90lbs to check for leaks and it raised it almost 3". Im not sure of the payload but I imagine it is reduced. They sell air helper bags, but that kit is almost $400 without a compressor. In theory these work the same. I have a friend that has my same drop with air helpers and he tows a car trailer with his show truck and he claims no issues.

I may just have to look in to this. Thanks!!!

Heres where I mounted the air fill valve. Its convenient, easy to add/remove air and out of harms way.

Great looking truck, you did an awesome job!

Love your choice in wheels too, who makes them?

Im not sure who makes the wheels, but they are GM factory wheels. They retail for like $600ea, but I lucked out and got the entire set for $700 brand new in box with GM part # on the side for all 4 wheels.
