2005 gmc 6.0 liter Everytime i try to install my programmer right at the end of the program my truck flashes "reduce engine power" and then goes away is this normal.

Get a custom PCM tune.

 

 

Don't feel bad, I had a couple of those Hypertechs over the years and always got my money back by selling them on Ebay.

 

Then take the money and go to www.blackbearperformance.com

It probably resets the pcm at completion and this will flash dashlights.

 

But seriously, get a tune, you will never look back.
