Rhino Liner Or Line X?

Recommended Posts

I want to have one of these liners sprayed in my bed and was curious if anyone had a preference and why?

I also live in the Frisco, Denton area and was curious if anyone had a place with a decent price to get one of these installed.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's all about preference actually, I like the Rhino, and some people live by line-x. The best way to find it cheap is to call around and someone might have a special going on. Try DFW camper corrall, or Truck Toys. But remember cheap is not always better.

I agree, I want it done the right way.. Just wonderig if any of the DFW members here had called around and found the best place to get it done.

I went with the Line-X. My father had it in his truck, so I knew exactly what mine would be like. The texture, durability, and hardness are all to my liking. If you prefer a softer, more grippy surface than Rhinoline is the way to go. I find that the Line-X is a pretty hard surface, but stuff doesn't seem to slide around too much. I have a cargo bar to fix anything I'm too concerned about. My bed (8 foot) was done for $570 by the Line-X place.

My '04 has a Rhino and my '09 has a LineX. I prefer the LineX over the Rhino that I have, but I think the newer Rhinos are probably more on par with LineX now. I had my LineX done in Sherman actually and a the shop did a very good job, you probably don't want to go that far though.

I got a Rhino Liner from Rhino Linings of the Metroplex. It is a little far from you, though. They are off 360, just south of Hwy. 183. They did a great job and fit me in with very little notice. They claim to be the oldest Rhino dealer in the metroplex, but that isn't why I went. They were quite a bit cheaper than any of the other Rhino and Line-X places I had priced out in the DFW metroplex. They constantly run a $35 off coupon on their web site, which made mine around $380 after taxes. Hard to beat that price, especially for solid work!

I always had a Rhino (5 trucks) I thought he quality was going downhill as far as the durability of the product. Had problems with my last two trucks. Same spayer all 5. This time I went with Line-X And I like the product way better. Time will tell. But if I was to do it today it would be Line-X

I've seen Line-X displays at malls but never a Rhino Liner. I have yet to actually see/feel the Rhino Liner product. Curious if it would win me over or just remind me even more that Line-X was a good decision.

Line-X. My 2003 Chevy had it, it was great. I bought an 2007 Chevy and got the Rhino, because they were offering a coupon, big mistake. It is softer, and I tore it moving a washer! It was patched, but continues to scrap off. The Line-X also offers a Line-X plus, that doesn't fade.
