I will pull into work and drive about 15 - 20 mph. down a blacktop road. The road is pretty smooth. I will get a rattling sounds from the doors it sounds like its in the lower part of the doors on the passenger as well as the drivers side. It's driving me crazy has anybody else have this problem.

Take care,

Matt

I haven't had any rattling issues with my doors yet. :sigh: Check your door panels at the bottom to make sure they are tight. Maybe you have a plastic clip that isn't pushed in securely or one broke? Just a thought.

I had a rattle in my drivers door that started out very minor and would take severe bumps to here it.....eventually the slightests bumps would make me here to the point of annoyance. i brought it to the dealer and it ended up being some screws to the window regulator that came loose.....a little bit of loctite and a screw driver and no more rattle.

now the left rear door is doing it :sigh:

Is the window up-down-doesn't matter? Like Craig said, I would think the regulator may be suspect.

Got a rattle that at first I thought was the rear doors on ours, but realized the other day it was really the rear seat rattling where it folds up and down. This only happens on the dirt roads and big pot holes though.

Is yours a ext. or crew cab??

I had a slight rattle from my rear passenger door. When I installed my painted door handles I had to take the inner door panel off. Once I did so I noticed the regulator bracket had 4 screws holding it secure. 3 out of the 4 screws were loose. Snugged them up and haven't heard the noise since!!!

my driver side door was rattling like that on smooth roads, so i took it in. apparently it was some clips or molding and they fixed it. however, it just came back a couple days ago. looks like im taking it back to the dealership. wish my new seats would come in. its only been since MLK weekend that they ordered them.

do you have ext cab, crew cab, or regular cab. i have extended cab and the back doors are hard to shut securely and if they are not shut secure i will get a rattle too.

I too am noticing some rattles, our parking lot at work looks like a mine field so it is a good test to say the least!!

I just crawl though it and notice a fairly decent clunk, which sounds like it is coming from underneath the truck?

I also notice my driver side doors have some noises, hope to go in soon for an adjustment?

I also found on the passenger door behind the grab handle is a little piece of plastic that is loose, not sure how to fix that one other that use some silicone?

So far I am disappointed with the sounds/noise I hear from my new truck, it is super quiet going down the hwy but not on anything that has any type of roughness to it, including my own driveway! Hope I can get them all taken care of without any issues?

Yea, it doesn't matter windows up or down. I only hear at low speeds and it's not all the time but, when I do hear it sounds like the lower part of the front doors maybe underneath the truck but, close to the doors. One of the guys at work said there is an TSB for door / cab creeking maybe that's what mine is doing.!! It's an extended cab. Thanx for the help gentlemen.

Take care,

i had a door rattle on my extended cab truck but it was up towards the corner where the door meet. if i applied pressure tot he top of the dorr it would stop. it also stopped when it rained out so i assumed it was a seal rubbing issue. there was a tsb on here about using anti squak tape on the door. got the tape but havent put it on yet.

Both of my front doors were rattling when I would go over railroad tracks and speed bumps. Brought it to the dealer and it was the strikers. You can grab your outside door handle with the door closed and pull up. If there is any movement or you hear a click, it most likely a striker.
