Brake pedal goes to the floor and is squirting brake fluid above or somewhere near the gas tank but cant pinpoint it anywhere. Is there any kind of piece of the brake assembly there that could be causing it to do this, or is it a cut line or something?

It is coming out in big gushes.

The rear brake line is routed above the gas tank before it splits to the rear wheels. I had to replace my rear line because it just rusted out. To follow the same routing path you have to drop the tank. Lot of work for a cheap brake line.

Keep an eye on the front lines too. Mine rusted out about a year later after the rear line.

even though the back brakes have no pressure, wouldnt this still give me front brakes or do they all work off the same pressure

You should have minimal front brake power, but nothing that would stop you in an instant. The master cylinder is divided so if you lose front or rear there will be enough pressure to stop you.

you should be able to snake out the old line and snake in a new one without removing the gas tank or the bed. i do it all the time at work. or if you dont mind, just pinch off the ends of the old line and leave it up there. it wont hurt anything.
