Front Axle Cv Joint Life With Leveling Kits

Can some of you that have had the 2" or so leveling kits relate your experiences with front axle CV Joint life? Or for that matter, any front end steering, driveline, or suspension component life that you think may have been affected by the leveling.

 

I keep my trucks a long time, typically, and also drive a good many miles. My 99 2500 has about 215,000 miles on it. It has no suspension mods, but I did encounter a front driveshaft vibration that drove me nuts. That's some of the background on why I'm interested in knowing if there's been any information gleened on component life being shortened from these small lifts of about 2".

Pretty much everything is affected from by the leveling kits: balljoints, tie rods, CV axles. Staying under 2" helps a lot... and how you treat the truck matters a lot too. If you drive on rough terrain often, then a leveling kit may not be a wise choice.
