Gmt-900 Torque Specs?

Does anyone know the torque specs on the steering rack for both the left and right side bolts for a 2007 4x4? The manual that I have says 148 ft lbs for the left side bolts and 74 ft lbs for the right side bolts. This seems way too much for the size of bolts.

Does anybody have the torque number for the two bolts that mount the master cylinder to the brake booster?

  Had a similar issue with my 2025 Chevy 2500 HD. Did everything (forget phone, forget truck etc) Ended up resetting (rebooting) the infotainment system, using the "phone hang-up" button on the right side of the steering wheel, holding it down until the infotainment system reboots. All good now.

  If I were a betting man I'd say you need a bi-directional scan tool in order to get trapped air out of the ABS. That's the trend things have been heading toward for many years now. They don't want anyone working on "THEIR" vehicles at home. The, "you bought it, but WE own it" mentality is rampant today. I always just kept the master full, and used a vacuum bleeder to pull the new fluid out. I would start off by emptying the master with a turkey baster, fill with fresh fluid, then start at the right rear, then left rear, then right front, ending at left front.
