Hello to all. New GM Truck owner here, have been driving GM cars 'til now. Currently drive a brand new '09 Sierra SLE1 Crew Cab, Black in color.

Looking into some modifications in the near future. One mod that I think I will do right away is 'debadging' the truck. Has anyone had any trouble with debadging? Any badges that have any holes behind them? And since my truck has the build date of 01/09 I am sure it has been sitting in the sun, anybody have any trouble with paint differences from where the badges are located?

Well since daddy must be out blowing his bald spot off, ill chime in.

debadging is a piece of cake, there are no holes to fill, all it is is adhesive. And i dont think sitting in the sun for 7 months would do any discoloring but it may have made it a pain to get all the adhesive off. I debadged my tailgate and my GM chiclets the day after i bought it and they were only on for 6 weeks and it took under 2 hours

Thanks for the welcome everybody. I will certainly try to post pics hopefully soon. I have all the badges off and will post pics as soon as we get a nice day here in Nebraska. It's been raining off and on since Thursday.

Now I have to browse the forum in regards to voiding warranty with leveling kits and tires and programmers. Again, thanks.
