Front Leveling Kit Q's?

What seems to be the preference of lift for the front to get a leveled truck? 1 1/2" or 2". I've searched and found that the 2" (which seems to be the most popular) actually makes the front sit higher...

2" or even 2.5" is the way to go. I have a 2.5" on mine. love it!

I have an 2" on mine, and it sets darn close to dead level, although I haven't measured from the tops of the tires

I have a Readylift 2.25" in front. Seems to be just right, it's nicely leveled and not higher that the back.

i don't know if there is any difference in the 2wd to 4x4 but i measured mine from top of tire to bottom of fender, and it's right at 2" difference. I have a 2wd btw.

I just went out and measured mine, and with my 2 level kit, I am right about 1/2" taller in the front, but you can't tell, plus I'm sure the measurements aren't true because of my driveway
