Ordering Hid Kits

So i am ordering a couple of kits from http://www.vvme.com/product/detail-20023.html

Just wondering what color i should go with? i researched this and remember 6k being the number but i cant remember why. the guy i work with said i should get 4300.

JMO, but above about 6k, the light gets pretty f*^% irritating to look at when an oncoming vehicle has HIDs. A little consideration of others on the road should outweigh how cool they look.

Tell Spence that you're a GM-Trucks.com member and he gives a discount on some things like the fogs.

I just ordered the 5202 fog kit from him in 5000 Kelvin color. That's the closest to a pure white without going blue or purple and also gives the highest output of useable lumens, from what I can find on the net.

If the 5k fogs are not too distracting to other drivers, I may get a headlight kit.

i just ordered the 6000k h11 kit from vvme last night for my lows. came out to be like $55 shipped. should be here like monday or so. ill def post some pics up when i get them installed. if i like them, im also going to get a set for my altima.

I would go with 6000K. White with a hint of blue/purple. The vvme kit is a high quality kit with an amazing price.

Aww damn.... now you just made me spend even MORE money on my truck....

That VME kit looks like a freaking sweet deal. I'm going to grab a set of 6Ks for my lows and fogs, and I'll throw a set of silverstars in the high beams. I just wish I could swap the DRLs around to use the parking lamps instead of the low beams (as opposed to disabling the DRLs entirely)

ordered a kit for my bike. if i like them i will get another kit for my truck. would have got both at the same time but they chage you $18 shipping for each kit ordered so there was no sasvings.
