Oem Navigation Repair

My 2004 OEM Touch Screen Navigation is having a hard time reading the disc. Sometimes it will work for a hour or two and other times it will not work at all. The message I get is " Cannot read disc. Check if disc is dirty or scratched ( which it is not ) I remember reading somewhere that there was a repair facility in Pennsylvania. If anyone has a trusted repair facility ( preferred NY but will use a recommended one ) I would appreciated it. Thanks

Recently, my stock Touchscreen Navigation Unit began acting up. It would not read the disc at startup, or if it did work, would stop working and give a “cannot read” disc error. After a little internet research among different truck forums, I came upon a few companies that received good reviews and do factory repairs.

I sent my unit to Specmo. In my case, it was the CD Carrier Tray $160 plus $8 to ship back. The warranty is 12 months 12,000 miles. So far it has been six weeks with no problems.
