No Remotes

Both remotes stopped working on my 2000 GMC SC. Checked both key fobs, and fuses. All have good batteries. What else can I look at? Where is the reciever located on the truck?

Isn't the keyless entry part of the Body Control Module?

 

I believe it is on my '02.

Yes, they are part of the BCM. I have had a BCM fail on me in the past (in a 98 S10 Blazer) and it presented the exact same symptoms described. Something like $450 to replace at the local Chevy dealer
