Tire/wheel Combo For 05 Sierra

OEM tires are worn and time for a wheel/tire upgrade. Thinking ATX Polished Mojave with Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo. Going on a 05 Sierra Ext cab, Silver Birch.

Opinions.....Anyone using these Bridgestones?

The Revos get great reviews but they are quite high priced. Might want to compare them with others over on www.Tirerack.com just to see if there are any better options. Hard to tell about the wheels from that pic.

I was rather disappointed with my Revos. I only had them for the last 8k of their 33k lifespan, but they wore very quickly (obviously), and when they got worn down, the compound got MUCH harder, making them hell on wet roads. I never had the opportunity to drive on them new, so I really only saw the bad side of the tire, but it was bad enough to make me never want another set (not to mention I think they're butt ugly, but that's just me :smash:).

Bought my Revos new and 15K into them have been very pleased, but reading your experience at the end of their mileage life is making me a little cautious. Resently read an article comparison between Revos, BFG A/T, and Toyo Open Country A/T and although each rated higher thean the others in different catagories, Toyo's edged out on overall and are less expensive. Anyone have experience with Toyo OC A/T?

My truck came with the Duelers stock, not sure about the Revo or not. But, with 28k on them, they're about trashed, hence the new wheels and tires I just got.
