Well after a week dealing with the slow azz install shop, I got the truck back. Got the wheels on last week and this week got a great deal on some Mickey Thompson ATZ's. Here she is although she's a little dirty.

2008 Chevy Crew Cab Z71, 5.3, 3.73, Diablo Predator, Magnaflow Exhaust

6" BDS Lift

305/70/18 Mickey Thompson ATZ

18x9 Mamba M2 4.75 bs

Had to trim a little bit of the rear front fender and a couple of hits with the hammer :)

looks good! I actually recommend NOT getting nerf bars because it detracts from the appearance and you spent a bunch of money to make the truck higher, and they def make it look lower. Just my opinion, and in no means a personal attack on you Dwelve. Just stating the other side of the argument.

No nerf's for me. I've had several friends say I need them but I prefer the look without them. Its a little jump to get in but not to bad. Of course I'm a little taller than they are but they didn't pay for it lol.

same here... people ask "where the steps are" and then say "oh you probably dont want them huh? yah, i guess it is better without them" comments like that. I am gonna do 1.5" body lift too and still no steps. I would only do nerfs if I went with a 3" body lift cuz then you kinda need em to hide the frame a lil. and because some people literally wouldnt be able to get in. Ive already had people go crashing out of it or atleast stun their ankles because they are drunk or not paying attention and forget its lifted.

Looks great man!

This might be my project next Summer lol

Hey bud did you ever get a hold of Steve?

looks good...

My only other comment on the steps is that without them, you're going to wear down the seat bolsters from sliding into and out of the truck... Just something else to consider.

What about THESE

Nice but I'd rather hop up a little than shell out $1,100.00 for steps.

I really prefer the no step look. We'll see if hopping gets old :rollin:
