The article on Autoblog mentions that they are unsure what they are planning on doing to it, whether it be a competitor to the Raptor or a competitor for the Lightning, but I look forward to seeing what they come up with.

All I've got to say is.....SWEET. A calloway truck would be something GM needs to do. That's the GM I know. Although, it would probably cost a fortune for the amount of work actually done.

I think they need to bring the SS Silverado back in some form. With like the LS7 or something in it. I guess it would be kinda be like the same concept as the Ram SRT-10....but better of course

Exactly, I loved my SS. They need to put something like a ls9 in it. That would be badass. RCSB, also.

I would say they should at least offer the LS7 and continue the gentleman's cruiser SS style of extended cab with AWD. With that much power the thing would be plenty fast even carrying around another 500 or so pounds.

I say a Silverado SS with an upgraded 6.2 in it (Supercharged or something to get it at around 500 horse). This way they might be able to keep the price down so it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

In an AWD regular cab this time dammit. And forget the towing, put a 6L80E with a 3000 stall in there so it tears your head off when it launches...And beats the snot out of the JGC SRT-8.

i agree... a RCSB 6.2 supercharged but i think it should be RWD and only available in black with red SS decals and and red outlined front emblem like the original silvy ss. thats what i think... im not all about AWD... nothin like a good ol' american RWD V8 vehicle.

AWD just makes it cake to launch, like a cat out of a bathtub.
